Now this is the fun part! I love to be collaborative during this process; I’ll ask you questions, you ask me. I often like to see pictures of your outfits, how we can coordinate well and anything else that needs to be included. This should be enjoyable and stress free

The process of developing and scanning film is an art in itself that takes time and care. I’m just as eager as you are to see the magic we created! The day after (or, If I’m lucky, the day of) our session, I’ll drop your film off to my trusted lab. From there, I scan the negatives in-house. It takes a bit longer but it gives me the freedom to play to my heart’s content and produce the quality you deserve. It’s absolutely worth the wait!

Film is all about intentionality and slowness, making each photo significant in its own way. I focus not only on you but the emotion and senses felt in that moment. Film encourages living in the moment; there's no instant gratification of seeing the shot, no electronic distractions — just the simple mechanics of a vintage camera. Film is wonderful and enthralling, yet wildly unpredictable. What I find special about this medium is the embrace of imperfection; leading to beautiful results that are cherished for eternity.

My turnaround time is typically up to 3 months for weddings and up to 2 weeks for portraits, branding, maternity, family and couples! The day after our session (excluding Sundays), I will drop off the film to my trusted lab, which usually takes 1-2 days to process. I then scan the negatives in-house to a digital file. It gives me the freedom to experiment to my heart's content and produce the quality you deserve. I find it completely worth it!
